For Meta Elevate, a sub brand focused on Black and Latinx entrepreneurship, I craft social copy that focuses on business development, community-building, and storytelling.
Following the release of new features, I specifically write copy that provides use cases and suggestions for business owners. Captions typically end with prompts to share, save, or comment, encouraging followers to share valuable information with other business owners, create their own resource archive of Meta Elevate posts, or as a way to connect with a wider community of business owners.

Other key content pieces are long-form posts that highlight small to medium-sized businesses and discuss their relationship to Meta products. After conducting a Q&A with a brand’s founders, I write 350-word social editorials that follow the journey of the brand, the importance of their entrepreneurial community, and their approach to social media. They often share details of specific tools that have most impacted their business, which is then incorporated into posts alongside details about their business and the niches they exist in. Just like with any long-form editorial content, I write relevant but punchy headlines and provide options for pull-quotes, later used in a carousel.

On Threads, engagement is this account’s most important metric. For that, I write posts that serve as conversation-starters among the brand’s followers. These typically glean responses that can be screenshot and shared as future social posts.
